Description
In undulating pasture, located on a rise overlooking a river which is c. 50m to S. A circular enclosure (diam. c. 35-40m) is shown on 1838 OS 6-inch map; a semi-circular area incorporated into field boundaries at SE–NNW is indicated on the 1931 edition. Description
Three-arch hump back road bridge over river, extant 1838. Coursed rubble limestone walls centred on outline of triangular cutwaters to piers to upriver (north-east) elevation retaining abbreviated pyramidal capping with lichen-covered hammered limestone "battlemented" coping to parapets. Series of three segmental arches with tooled cut-limestone voussoirs. Sited spanning Trimoge River with unkempt grass banks to river.
