  Description

  Visible on aerial photographs (OS 1 3323-2), and marked on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map with house sites then in use. Situated in a hollow between rises. An area of c. 4 ha contained low earthen banks which define small rectangular fields (dims c. 50m x c. 30-40m), with house sites at the E where there is a NW-SE road. These are not visible now at ground level in pasture, apart from one fragment of an earthen bank (L 30m E-W; Wth 3-4m; H 0.3-0.4m). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

  Description

  Visible on aerial photographs (OS 1, 3323-2) and situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Rectangular grass-covered area (dims c. 14m N-S; 10m E-W) defined by the foundations of a grass-covered stone wall (Wth 1-1.6m; H 0.1-0.2m) at N and E.   Description

  On a W-facing slope. Circular overgrown platform (diam. c. 8m; H 0.6m) defined by a fosse (Wth of top c. 4m) and earthen bank (Wth 5-6m; int. H 0.6-0.8m; ext. H 1.5m). A flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top c. 5.5m) and middle bank (Wth 4m; int. H 1m) are separated by a second fosse (Wth of top 5.5m; D 0.15m) from a third outer bank (Wth 5m. int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.2-0.45m). The monument has been truncated at E and W by NW-SE roads, and the overgrown outer features only survive W-N and E-S (max. ext. diam. c. 65m NW-SE).   Description

  On a W-facing slope. Circular round-topped earthen mound (diam. 5.25-5.6m; H 1.1m at E to 1.75m at S) remains unplanted in a coniferous forest.   On a W-facing slope. Circular, round-topped and scrub-covered earthen mound (diam. of base 4.5-5m; H 1.1m generally to 1.4m at S) which remains unplanted in a coniferous forest.
