  Description

  On a slight SW-facing slope. Described as a subrectangular area (dims c. 40m E-W; c. 40m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank, a wide rounded fosse and an outer bank with an entrance causeway at SSW (Gannon 1972). It was removed during 1995 and is not now visible at ground level in pasture. It is visible as a subcircular grass-covered area (int. dims c. 42m NW-SE; c. 35m NE-SW) defined by a wide fosse (Wth c. 5m) on Digitalglobe images.   Description

  Marked as a circular enclosure on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a fragment of a bank on the 1929 ed. It is situated on a gentle SW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 52.5m N-S; 49m E-W) defined by a defaced earthen bank (Wth 3.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.7m) SE-SSW (C 22m) and by a low scarp (H 0.25m) SSW-NNW.   Description

  On a shelf of a SW-facing slope at the NW end of a low WNW-ESE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 23m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.7-1m) NW-E-SW, with traces of a fosse (Wth of top 5.5m; D 0.4m) S-SW. The monument is bisected by a NNE-SSW drystone wall and the NW quadrant has been quarried away leaving a pond. Barrow (RO034052002-) is 10m to the E and rath (RO034-053----) is c. 110m to the SE.   Description

  On the SW-facing slope of a slight WNW-ESE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 22.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4m; H 0.2-0.5m) N-SE, and a scarp (H 0.45-0.6m) NW-N. The perimeter is quarried at the W edge and cannot be traced SE-SW. There is no visible fosse but the entrance (Wth 3m) is at NE, and a NW-SE field bank of field system (RO034-099----) overlies the interior.   Description

  Towards the SE end of a low WNW-ESE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 37m N-S; 35.3m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.6-5.4m; int. H 0.2-0.7m; ext. H 1.3-1.6m) WNW-N-ESE which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.2m at S) elsewhere, and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.5-7m; Wth of base 2.2-2.8m; D 0.2-0.7m) SSW-N-SSE. The entrance may have been at SE where the fosse is absent (L 5m), and the interior is overlain by a N-S field bank of field system (RO034-099----) (max. ext. dims 67.7m E-W; 63.8m N-S).   On a shelf on the SW-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. An area of about 19 acres (c. 7.5 ha) contains relict field banks (Wth 3.5-4m; H 0.3-0.5m) running NE-SW creating rectangular fields (dims c. 200m x c. 100m), and a field bank of the system overlies rath (RO034-054----).
