  Description

  On a shelf of a slight S-facing slope on a broad plateau. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 29.2m N-S; 27.4m E-W) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 3.5-5m; Wth of top 1.6-2.3m; int. H 0.1-0.6m; ext. H 1.1-1.3m), with faint traces of a fosse (Wth of base 1.6m; D 0.1m) ESE-SSW. There is no evidence of an original entrance. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

  Description

  At the crest of a NE-facing slope, towards the E edge of a broad plateau. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34.1m E-W; 32.7m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.8-5.7m; int. H 0.1-0.5m) and hedge separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5-6.8m; Wth of base 2.5-4m; D 0.8-1.7m) from an outer bank (Wth 2.6-5.7m; H 0.3-0.6m). The inner bank and fosse have been damaged by quarrying NW-ENE and the interior is bisected by a N-S field wall, but there is no evidence of an original entrance (max. ext. dims 59m E-W; 53.6m N-S).   Description

  On a high, level landscape. Described as having a wide fosse with an entrance (Wth 3m) at E (Gannon 1972). This is a subcircular raised, grass and scrub-covered area (dims 38.3m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by an overgrown scarp (H 1.2-1.6m), with slight traces of a bank (Wth 1m; int.
