Marked as a D-shaped feature (dims c. 35m NE-SW; c. 25m NW-SE) truncated by a field bank at SW only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the top of a S-facing slope. On a flat low-lying landscape, and first identified by M. A. Timoney. Subcircular grass-covered stoney mound (dims 13m N-S; 9.5m E-W; H 0.6m) with an indentation on the W side. Fulacht fia (RO015-060002-) is c. 10m to the W and fulacht fia (RO015-060003-) is c. 15m to the SW. It remains unplanted in a coniferous forest. See the attached image taken from the W.
