  Description

  Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45-50m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as an arc of a bank (C c. 30m) NW-NE on the 1914 ed. Situated on a low rise in a low-lying landscape. Oval grass-covered platform (dims. 29m E-W; 20m N-S; H 1.4-1.8m) known locally as `the Rock', and known to cover rock-outcrop.   Description

  Marked as an oval embanked enclosure (dims c. 55m N-S; c. 45m E-W) on the 1837 and 1914 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated at the crest of the N-facing slope of a low hill. Oval grass-covered area (dims 54m NNW-SSE; 44m ENE-WSW) defined by a low scarp (H 0.4m at SSW to 0.6m at NNE). There is no visible fosse or entrance.
