  Situated on an E-facing slope of ground at the end of an E-W ridge in an upland area. A raised circular area (diam. 40m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.7-1.7m; ext.   Description

  Situated on high ground in an upland area. A raised circular area (diam. 27m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 1.3m) visible at S only, elsewhere reduced to a scarp with a shallow external fosse (Wth 4m). A modern field boundary skirts the fosse from S through W to N and a field fence intersects the fosse at N and SE. No entrance feature visible.   Description

  Situated on a SE-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A poorly preserved ringfort consisting of a circular area (diam. 27m N-S) enclosed by a low earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; ext. H 0.3m) best preserved at SE with a possible entrance gap (Wth 3m) at S. A field fence to the W of the site has recently been removed. No visible trace of a fosse.   Description

  Situated on top of a natural hillock in an upland area. A circular area (diam. approx. 21m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.8m) with traces of a shallow external fosse (Wth 1.5m). No entrance feature visible. A modern field fence bisects the site on a NW-SE axis.   Description

  Situated on high ground in an upland area with a possible cairn (TN026-020002) immediately to the NE and overlooking a ringfort (TN026-021) also to the NE. An oval-shaped area (diam. 27m N-S; 21m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.75m) with a modern gap (Wth 7m) at E and possible original entrance gap (Wth 2m) at SE. No visible trace of a fosse. The exposed location of this site is unusual for a ringfort and it may only have been used as a booley site.   Description

  Situated on high ground in an upland area with a possible ringfort (TN026-020001) immediately to the W and overlooking a ringfort (TN026-021) to the NE. A small circular flat-topped mound (H 0.5m; base diam. 10m) of earth and stone construction with a trigonometrical station at the summit. Not indicated on any ed. of the OS 6-inch map.   Description

  Situated on a low S-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A raised circular area (diam. 35m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 2m) and external fosse (Wth 3-5m; D 0.3m) with possible destroyed entrance gap at E. The interior has recently been planted with conifers.   Description

  Situated on a low rise of ground in an upland area with extensive views. Marked as 'Site of Burial Ground' on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map. Described in the OS Letters as a little burial ground known as Cill Churnain (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 3, 120). A large hollow depression is all that is visible in this area.
