  Description

  Situated on the gentle E-facing slope of a low rise of ground in undulating countryside with a nearby enclosure (TN035-019) to the S. A poorly preserved site consisting of a circular area (diam. 32.5m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1-1.5m) and external fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.4m) both of which are only visible from N through E to S where the bank survives as a field fence. The enclosing features are elsewhere destroyed.   Description

  Situated on poorly drained land with a nearby church site (TN035-013002) to the SSE. A poorly preserved disused well partially filled in with collapsed drystone wall surround.   Description

  Situated on a low natural rock outcrop in a poorly drained area with a nearby holy well (TN035-012) to the N. Depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular earthwork without the church which is indicated on the latest ed. map. Natural rock outcrop, the base of which has been scarped, to from a flat-topped platform (diam. 35m E-W; N-S 21m) defined by a scarp (H 1m) with wall-footings of a nineteenth-century church (TN035-013002) in the centre. • TN035-013002 Church
  Description

  Situated on a low rock outcrop in a poorly drained area in the centre of an earthwork (TN035-013001) with a nearby holy well (TN035-012) to the N. The wall-footings of a probable penal church (int. dims. 4.2m N-S; 9.5m E-W; wall T 0.9m) survive in the centre of an earthwork of unknown antiquity. Not indicated on the 1st. ed. OS 6-inch map but indicated on the current edition. The church was probably built between 1840 and 1903 as supported by the cartographic evidence.   Description

  Situated on a low hillock in undulating countryside with a nearby possible ringfort (TN035-018) to the N. A roughly circular area (diam. 22m N-S) enclosed by a poorly preserved earth and stone bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. • TN035-020 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Situated on high ground in undulating countryside with extensive views. A circular area (diam. 46m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 2m) with a possible entrance gap (Wth 5m) at NW. Grass-covered wall-footings traversing the interior on an E-W axis may represent an old field boundary or may be associated with the Trig Station erected on the site.
