Description
Situated on the N-facing slope of a hill in pasture. A circular area (diam. 39m N-S; 37m E-W) defined by the barely visible remains of a bank with an external fosse (Wth c. 2.5m) upslope to the S, partially backfilled. The site was levelled c. 20 years ago according to the landowner. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
