  Description

  Situated on the NE-facing slope of a hill in pasture. A roughly circular area (diam. 28m N-S; 30.5m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank which has been mainly reduced to a scarp (H 1.7m). A road running NW-SE clips the SW portion of the site and a stone wall at the edge of the road has been built on top of the bank. No outer fosse or entrance feature visible.   Description

  Situated on the NE-facing slope of a hill in pastureland. A circular area (diam. 24m N-S; 23.5m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 2.9m; int. H 1.25m; ext. H 1.25m) and an external wide, flat-bottomed, deep fosse (Wth 4.2m; D 1.5m). The interior slopes to the NE and there is an entrance in the NE quadrant (Wth 6m).   Description

  Situated on the NE-facing slope of a hill in pasture. A roughly circular area (diam. 40.7m N-S; 37m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.3m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 2.4m) with no evidence of an outer fosse. Possible entrance feature at E (Wth 3m). The ringfort is surrounded by a stone field wall - the gap between the base of the ringfort and the wall creating a fosse-like effect.   Description

  Situated on the E-facing slope of a hill in undulating terrain. A roughly circular area (diam. 23.4m N-S; 21.7m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.7m), a narrow, U-shaped fosse (Wth 3.3m; D 0.8m) and an outer bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.6m). No entrance feature visible. • TN033-002 Cairn - unclassified
  Description

  Situated on the summit of Cooneen Hill with panoramic views in all directions. A circular cairn (base diam. 8.7m N-S x 10.3m E-W; top diam. 5.1m) sitting on a natural knoll which continues to descend to S. The cairn (H 0.8-1.6m) is covered in moss and heather with small stones protruding. Kerbstones define the cairn material at N, with a curving line of kerbstones defining the top of the cairn at S. The interior is flat, with a slight drop below the encircling kerb. Large flat boulders in the interior may be lintels although three or four are loose.
