  Description

  Marked as a circular enclosure on the 1839 and 1921 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and located on a slight W-E spur in the foothills of the Blackstairs Mountains. It was described in the 1940s as a subcircular area (dims. 43m N-S; 37m E-W) defined by a low earthen bank and external fosse (SMR file). It has been removed since the 1940s but is visible as a cropmark on Google Earth (2011). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).   Description

  Situated on a SE-faciing slope of a slight W-E spur in the foothills of the Blackstairs Mountains. It is described as the site of a church on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map where it is depicted as a small structure (L c. 10m NW-SE) within a rectangular graveyard (dims. c. 35m NE-SW; c. 25m NW-SE). There are no visible remains of a structure, enclosure or burials at ground level.   Description

  Located on a slight W-E spur in the foothills of the Balckstairs Mountains. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 33m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5-6m; H 1-1.6m; ext. H 0.8m at W to 1.4-1.8m generally) and hedge. There is no visible fosse but the entrance (Wth 2m) is at ENE. Two low parallel banks (L 16m) within the interior may be modern.
