  Marked as a bivallate enclosure (ext. diam. c. 60-65m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a circular sunken area (diam. c. 35-40m) on the 1925 ed. It is located on a short NW-SE spur in the foothills of the Blackstairs Mountains. It is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop. Archaeological testing (19E0678) c. 40m to the SW failed to produce any related material (McLoughlin 2019).   Description

  Marked as a bivallate enclosure (ext. diam. c. 85-95m) on the 1839 and 1925 eds of the OS 6-inch map and situated on the S-facing slope of a W-E spur in the foothills of the Blackstairs Mountains. This is a circular dished area (diam. c. 40m) with an outer bank incorporated in a road bank SE SW (C 60m). It is known locally to have been a double banked enclosure that was removed c. 1970. • WX024-037 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Situated in the valley of a small NW-SE stream, which is c. 10m to the W, and close to its source. This is a circular, dished and grass-covered area (diam. 47.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 9m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 2.2m) with an external fosse (Wth of top 6.5m; D 1.3m) NNW-ENE and an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.4m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 3m; D 0.2m) SSE-W. The site of the bank is clearly visible as a vegetation change ENE-SSE. There is no visible entrance. The enclosure is truncated at NW by a NE-SW field bank. Rath (WX024-038----) is c. 40m to the SE.   Description

  Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in the valley of a small NW-SE stream, which is c. 80m to the SW. Only the western segment of the enclosure survives as a D-shaped overgrown area (dims. c. 38m NW-SE; c. 31m NE-SW) defined by a low bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.2m) SW-NW (C c. 30m) with no visible fosse or entrance. The enclosure is truncated by a NW-SE lane at NE and by a NE-SW farm lane at SE. Rath (WX024-037----) is c. 40m to the NW.   Description

  Marked as a rectangular embanked or moated enclosure (ext. dims. c. 50m NW-SE; c. 45m NE-SW) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and located at the bottom of an E-facing slope with a N-S stream c. 80m to the E. This is a rectangular grass-covered area (dims. 32m E-W; 23m N-S) defined by low scarps (H 0.2-0.5m) on every side, with the moat surviving as a field drain (Wth of top 7.5m; Wth of base 3m; D 1m) at W.
