  Situated in a natural hollow on a gentle E-facing slope. Circular mound (diam. 8m; H 1m) roughly flat-topped mound incorporating some rock at the S; slightly truncated at the S by a field boundary. It is unlikely to be a fulacht fiadh as there is no evidence for burnt stone. (Information P.   Description

  Situated on a gentle E-facing slope. Subcircular mound (dims. 12.5m N-S; 11m E-W; H 1.5m) with a fosse (Wth 5m at W - 2.5m at E; D 1m) and an external bank (Wth 2.5m but up to 4m at E; H. 0.2-0.95m) (max. dims. 24m N-S; 25.5m E-W). The site has been truncated by a laneway and by a field boundary on NNE side. Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a small enclosure. • WI007-044 Settlement cluster
  Description

  Situated on a gentle E to SE-facing slope. Two subrectangular house foundations (dims. 9m x 5m, and 8m x 6m) defined by earth and stone banks (Wth 1.5m; H 0.4m). The first is bisected by the NW boundary of a later irregular enclosure (dims. 30m x 15m) which is open to the SE. The second house occurs immediately N of the first. To the NW of the houses is a rectangular field with traces of ridge and furrow cultivation defined by low banks. Part of a second field survives to the SW and there are extensive, apparently unenclosed, areas of cultivation upslope to the W. (Information P.   Situated on a marked NE-facing slope between two stream gullies. A quadrangular enclosure (dims. 60m x 40m), shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, defined by low banks. A rectangular house platform (int. dims. 7m x 3m) occurs in the N corner with a possible second example immediately to the N. Possibly modern.   Description

  Set in bog and partially excavated in 1983 following levelling. Excavation of the SE quadrant uncovered a sub-rectangular clay-lined trough (L 2.15m; Wth at top 0.9m; Wth at base 0.7m; D 0.4m) filled with peat and burnt stones.   Description

  Situated on the S edge of a low hill. Circular area (diam. 33m) defined by an earthen bank from SE-W-NE (Wth 4m; H 0.5-0.7m) and an external fosse from SW-W-NE (Wth 2.5m; D 0.3m). At E the perimeter is defined by a scarp. A possible causeway (Wth 3m) occurs at the NE but at this point the bank is poorly preserved and there is no indication of a corresponding gap.   Situated on level ground with gentle S-facing slopes above and below the site. Circular area (diam. 34m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; H 0.8m) and an external fosse (Wth 2-3m; D 0.4m). The entrance consists of a gap (Wth 2m) in the bank at the SW with a corresponding causeway (Wth 2m) across the fosse. Within the site there are the foundations of two structures. The first is in the NE quadrant (12m NW-SE x 6m NE-SW) and is defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.6m; H 0.3m). The second is attached to the inner side of the bank at the W (dims. 8m N-S x 5m E-W) and is defined by a grass-grown bank (H 0.3m). The enclosure occurs within a field system attached to the site at the SW and SE.
