  Description

  Detached three-bay single-storey hipped roof parochial hall, built c.1850, with large one and a half storey gabled entrance projection, timber sash windows and painted roughcast façade. The hall is set on an elevated position in the centre of Enniskerry with a roughcast boundary wall and iron railings. The entrance is located within off-centre the gabled projecting bay and consists of a flat-headed doorway with panelled timber door with reeded jambs and lintel flanked by narrow sidelights with geometric tracery, whilst the flat-headed windows have Georgian-like paned sash frames and granite sills. To the East the front elevation is recessed. The overhanging roof is slated, has what clay ridge tiles and is supported on paired brackets with plain bargeboards to the gable of the projection. To the ridge of the projection is a rendered chimneystack. Mixture of cast iron and uPVC rainwater goods.

  Terraced three-bay single-storey gable-fronted former court house, built c.1820, with rendered façade and gable as tympanum, now converted to a bistro. The façade is rendered and painted and has a prominent bevelled stone base course. The pitched roof is slated. The windows are flat-headed and have both timber mullioned and transomed and bipartite sash frames, with granite sills to all. The entrance is located within the full-height central gabled bay and consists a Tudor arch opening with splayed reveal and moulded drip stone and a timber door with arched panels and fanlight. The ground floor level of the projection has bevelled corners and is topped with a dentilled string course in granite. Rendered chimneystack; uPVC rainwater goods.

  Detached single-bay single-storey L-plan forge, built 1855. The façade is in squared roughly dressed granite with edge pilasters, kneelers, parapets and finials also in granite. To the front gable is a horseshoe shaped doorway with dressed voussoirs and moulding with an ‘arrow loop’ opening above. The gable is topped with a ball and cone finial, with octagonal granite chimneystacks to remaining gables. Flat-headed windows with multiple-pane frames to roadside elevation with doorway with plain timber door to south face of the rear projection which is on the west side.
