  Description

  Situated on level ground in gently undulating terrain, in woodland with marshy area immediately to the W. A D-shaped enclosure (int. dims. 45.5m NW-SE; 34m NE-SW) defined by a flat-bottomed fosse (D 2-3m) which narrows from the NE (Wth 10m) to the SW (Wth 5m); on the straight NW side it is masked by the field boundary but the inner lip of the fosse is clearly identifiable. The external earthen bank (H 1.1m) narrows from the E (Wth 7.75m) to the S (Wth 3m), and is not visible at the W or N. There is a gap (Wth 2m) at the E but no corresponding causeway over the fosse. The interior is level and featureless. A stream flows through the fosse at the SW.   Description

  Situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Subrectangular enclosure (dims. 11.5m NE-SW; 10m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.8m; H 0.4-0.7m) with a basal boulder revetment. The entrance (Wth 2m) is at the NE, and there is a modern break in bank at the N. Shown on the 1839 OS 6-inch map.   Description

  Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope. Circular earth and stone mound (diam. 20m; H 2.5m) with a level summit (Wth 4m). The site is truncated at the S by farm track and a substantial field boundary.   Description

  Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope in a plantation. About half of a circular enclosure (diam. 30m); defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; H 1.2m) (part of the field boundary) at the NE with near vertical dry stone facing. The SE perimeter is marked by vestiges of a bank. No indication of an external fosse, entrance or internal features. Extending from the enclosure at the S is a bank which curves SW away from the site and then turns NW, possibly part of an associated enclosure or annexe.   Description

  A cist (L 0.35m; Wth 0.32m; Int. H 0.35m), discovered in 1984 in the garden of a dwelling, contained the cremated remains of a young adult male, accompanied by three chert flakes. Architectural heritage

• Money House, country house, 1760–1780 · Regional interest
  Description

  Detached five-bay two and a half-storey country house, built c.1770. The country house is finished in render. The panelled door has a semi-circular fanlight and carved granite dressing. Window openings are mainly flat-headed with six over six-timber sash frames. There is a small gabled dormer to the front east elevation and gabled half dormer to the north side. The hipped roof is finished with natural slate and has cast-iron rainwater goods. The chimneystacks are constructed of ashlar granite with corbelled caps and clay pots. To the north-east side there is a range of 19th century outbuildings. The country house is set within its own grounds on the edge of a small wooded demesne.
