The proposed residential accommodation lies to the east of Inchanappa House which is a Protected Structure (Wicklow County Council RPS No. 25-10) and south-east of Phase 1 residential development. An existing wooded area (2.83ha.) under the control of the applicant is intended to be utilised as a community park that will be open to all including prospective residents of this second phase of development. Included to the south as Phase 2 is proposed is a running track, soccer pitch, a sports/community centre incorporating 1 no. indoor basketball court, multi-purpose rooms, function room, changing rooms, toilets and storage, and 60 no. car parking spaces dedicated for sport and recreation use and attenuation area to be shared with the third phase of development. Archaeological monitoring (Licence No. 02E1547) of topsoil-stripping revealed several spreads of charcoal covering an area of 15m by 15m, containing several small post-holes and a pit (Bennett 2004, 539) Date of upload: 23 October 2012

Description
Archaeological excavation (Licence No. 02E1434) revealed a circuar area (int. diam. 14.5m; ext. diam. 18.8m) defined by a ditch (Wth 4m; D 0.4-0.7m). The interior contained a post-hole structure and three urn burials. A fourth urn burial had been placed just outside the SW edge of the ditch (Bennett 2004, 538). Date of upload: 23 October 2012

- Mountusher House, house, 1920–1925 · Regional interest
Description
Detached multiple-bay two-storey house, built 1922. There are large irregular shaped wings to the north rear. There is a long two-storey house built in the 1990s to the rear of the house. It is finished in render. To the south front there are two two-storey bow-fronted bays. Windows are casement. The hipped roof is finished in natural slate with cast-iron rainwater goods. The house is set within landscaped demesne.
- Mountusher House, gate lodge, 1900–1910 · Regional interest
Description
Detached four-bay single-storey gate lodge built c.1905. The gate lodge is constructed in brick. The sheeted timber door is set within a square-headed opening. Window openings are generally square headed with a mixture of top-hung and timber sash. Some are set within canted single-storey bays with hipped roofs. The chimneystacks are in brick with slightly corbelled caps. The pitched roof is finished with natural slate and has cast-iron rainwater goods. The gate lodge is set adjacent but outside the gates of Mountusher House. Eaves are overhanging and the gable peaks have mock half-timber designs.
