Description
Detached six-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1800, having recent extension to rear and windbreak to front. Hipped thatched roof with rendered chimneystack. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed window openings having render surrounds and replacement uPVC windows. Few openings to rear elevation. Square-headed door opening to rendered windbreak having replacement uPVC door. Multiple-bay outbuildings to north and north-east set around rectangular yard with access laneway, and having pitched corrugated-iron roofs, painted rendered walls and square-headed openings with corrugated-iron doors. Corrugated-iron barn to yard. Painted rendered boundary walls terminating in square-plan piers with pyamidal caps having ball finials and timber double-leaf gate. Wrouight-iron pedestrian gate between house and farmyard.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1910, having flat roofed single-bay return to rear and recent single-storey extension to rear of return. Pitched slate roof having decorative terracotta ridge tiles and rendered chimneystacks with terracotta chimney pots and some cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls with painted plinth course. Square-headed window openings having timber sliding sash windows, tripartite one-over-one pane to facade and two-over-two pane single windows to rear, with painted stone sills. Replacement uPVC windows to return. Square-headed entrance doorway having decoratively half-glazed timber door flanked by fixed timber sidelights. Curved entrance gateway having painted rendered walls, square-plan inner and outer piers with caps and decorative cast-iron double-leaf gates and wrought-iron pedestrian gate.This pleasant middle sized late nineteenth century house is recessed from the road in landscaped grounds. The building retains numerous interesting features such as timber sliding sash windows, some cast-iron rainwater goods and terracotta chimney pots. The central door is highlighted by the flanking sidelights.Owner would like copy of bookNot on OS1, nor is it on 1870 map held privately in the house.

Description
Five-arch road bridge, built 1880, over River Blackwater. Snecked rock-faced limestone walls and parapets with limestone copings, tooled limestone string courses over arches. Segmental arches with tooled limestone voussoirs and V-cutwaters with rock-faced course at impost level of arches. Limestone plaque to parapet in form of shield.
