  Description

  Internal diameter could not be taken Marked on the 1841-42 OS map as a circular enclosure with 'cave' marked in the interior. On the 1916 edition it has been cut by fieldbanks and the E section is not marked in. Situated on a rise with an excellent view of the surrounding land, today this site has been almost completely levelled. All that survives of the enclosing stone bank is a section from the S to W. The bank is 4m wide and rises to .6m above the interior and 1.4m above the external ground level. The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land. The above description is derived from C.   Description

  Fox fort. This univallate ringfort is situated in the corner of a field NE of KE015-006----. An excellent view is afforded from this site, especially to the S, E and W. This ringfort consists of a sub-circular area enclosed by a well-defined bank of earth and stone construction. It is on average 5m wide at the base and rises to an average of 2.4m high externally and 2m internally. Contained in the interior on the W sector is a semi-circular raised area curving into the bank. To the E of this is a clump of stones while E of the stones is a small depression 2.4m x 2.4m. In the N sector of the interior is an oblong mound (KE015-005002-), 4.6m x 2.4m externally and .6m high.   Description

  Internal diameter 30m N-S This site is situated immediately SW of Causeway village. It appears as a circular enclosure on the 1841-42 OS map, but has been much distorted. This is a circular area enclosed by a well-defined bank, except to the NNW where the erection of a shed has caused a gap in the bank. The bank measures 5m wide at the base and rises to a maximum height of 2m externally and 1m internally. The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land and in the NE though E to SE there is what appears to be an internal fosse or large depression for c 2.4m; it is 2.5m wide and 1.2m deep.
