  Description

  In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.75m). Interior used as dump for earth and stones; dump extends over triangular area (15.5m x 34m) to NE of enclosure.   Description

  In rough grazing, atop low crag in area of limestone outcropping. Circular area (40m E-W; 39m N-S) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 0.4m) which is best preserved NW->ESE. Interior is bisected by low earth-and-stone bank on ESE-WNW axis, which fades out in places and stops 2m short of bank at ESE.   In strip of land, lying between two public roads (R523 & N21), which is covered by dense overgrowth. Described by O Rahilly (1990) as 'a D-shaped area- may originally have been circular but subsequently truncated to the south by the old road ... measures c. 34m east-west and the internal level is approx. 1m below surrounding ground level ... it may be a ring barrow site'.
