  Description

  In undulating pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope and immediately below top of hill. Circular area (13.7m N-S; 13.4m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.76m) WSW->NE. Bank has been levelled elsewhere. Interior is covered by overgrowth and strewn with branches and other organic debris. Dwelling house has been built recently immediately to SE.   Description

  In pasture, on gentle NNW-facing slope. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m), has been levelled. However, site is now evident as circular patch of stunted light-coloured grass (c. 18m N-S) edged by band of nettles (Wth c. 2m) NNW->SSW. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011

  Description

  In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse (Wth 1.6m), but enclosing element truncated E->SE by trackway travelling NE-SSW; enclosure is depicted as complete circle on 1841 OS 6-inch map. Trackway has now been removed, apart from that portion crossing enclosure. Inner bank is covered by dense overgrowth, apart from section at SSW (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.8m), and has been eroded by cattle in places. Outer bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.6m) is mostly covered by dumps of rubble and earth. Interior is covered by trees and bushes.   Description

  In undulating pasture, on gentle SE-facing slope. Circular area (38m N-S; 39m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse. Bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 2.15m) has low internal height especially along N arc and is eroded by cattle at E. Entrance with causeway (Wth 5m) across fosse at NW. Fosse (Wth 2m; D 1.2m) well defined and waterlogged. Interior flat and under pasture but with some overgrowth in SW quadrant. Field boundaries abut outer edge of fosse at WSW and NNW.
