  Description

  Situated on a gentle E-facing slope in poorly-drained pasture. The monument, depicted as a sub-circular (diam. c. 20m) enclosure on the 1840 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled and was not evident on the ground when inspected. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 24 April 2013

  Description

  Situated on a gentle rise in rolling pasture with good views in all directions. The monument which is depicted on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as a sub-oval area (c. 40m E-W; c. 25m N-S) enclosed by a bank from E to W and immediately SE of a quarry, is now heavily obscured by dense scrub vegetation and by the dumping of overburden from the quarry.   Description

  Situated on undulating pasture, on a gentle slope down to the NE. Not marked on the OS 1924 OS 6-inch map but identified on an aerial photograph during preliminary archaeological work on the N20 Limerick South Ring Road (OS 2 743, 1/5000, No. 0725) as a cropmark of a circular enclosure.   Description

  Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope in pasture. The entire monument is heavily obscured and made inaccessible by dense scrub vegetation and is fenced-off from the rest of the field by a wooden fence. It is depicted on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as an oval area (c. 30m N-S; c. 25m E-W) enclosed by a bank with an external fosse.
