  In improved pasture 100m S of the townland boundary with Cromwell. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 116; AP 5/2022) as an enclosure. Faint traces of a circular-shaped cropmark (diam. c. 40m) visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020.   Description

  In reclaimed grassland with well immediately to S and N of a forestry plantation, 75m E of the townland boundary with Oldtown. Enclosure (LI033-085----) lies 200m to E. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 112; AP 5/2045) as an enclosure. Visible as circular-shaped area (diam. c. 27m) defined by a fosse with causewayed gap at N clearly visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Cropmark of levelled enclosure visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020. The enclosure appears to have been located inside a small levelled field defined by a fosse (dims. c. 46m NE-SW; 34m NW-SE) that is clearly visible to the N.   Description

  Identified on aerial photograph (Bruff Survey: Map 33, Bruff 111: AP 5/2021). Described by Doody (2008, 136) as a 'subrectangular platform, 35m NW-SE x 22m NE-SW, 0.3m high, enclosed by two ditches (inner c. 6.5m wide, outer c. 5m wide); possible entrance on N side'; the morphology of this enclosure indicates that it may be Bronze Age in date (ibid.).   Description

  In pasture close to the top of a knoll. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 131.01 and 130.02; AP 5/2022) as a circular shaped earthwork with a bank to the N running E-W. Visible as a circular-shaped depression (diam. 20m) enclosed by a possible bank from E-N-SW with a field bank to the N running E-W on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020. Earthworks may be the result of post-medieval quarrying rather than the remains of an archaeological monument.
