  Detached five-bay (single-bay deep) two-storey post office, designed 1902; dated 1902; built 1903-4; opened 1904; extant 1917, on a symmetrical plan with single-bay (two-bay deep) single-storey flat-roofed flanking end bays. Closed, 2001. Sold, 2013, to accommodate proposed alternative use. Hipped slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered "wallhead" chimney stack to rear (north) elevation having red brick header bond "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed cornice below capping supporting terracotta or yellow terracotta pots, rooflights, and cast-iron rainwater goods on overhanging timber boarded eaves having carved timber consoles retaining embossed cast-iron hoppers ("1902") and downpipes. Drag edged dragged limestone ashlar banded red brick English bond walls (ground floor) on drag edged dragged limestone ashlar plinth with paired drag edged rock faced cut-limestone banded red brick English bond pilasters to ends supporting drag edged dragged cut-limestone stringcourse; red brick English bond walls (first floor) with paired red brick English bond pilasters to ends supporting dragged cut-limestone "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed capitals having consoles. Square-headed window openings (ground floor) with dragged cut-limestone "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed sills, and drag edged dragged cut-limestone lintels framing six-over-six timber sash windows. Camber-headed window openings (first floor) with dragged cut-limestone sills on red brick English bond aprons, and red brick voussoirs framing three-over-three timber sash windows. Street fronted with concrete footpath to front having cut-limestone kerbing.

  Terraced four-bay three-storey over part raised basement townhouse, extant 1838, on a rectangular plan originally three-bay three-storey on a symmetrical plan[?]. In alternative use, 1995. Disused, 2008. Burnt, 2010. "Restored", 2011, to accommodate proposed alternative use. Replacement pitched slate roof on collared timber construction with trefoil-perforated crested terracotta ridge tiles, concrete coping to gables with rendered chimney stacks to apexes having corbelled stepped stringcourses below capping supporting terracotta octagonal pots, and uPVC goods on rendered stepped eaves. Rendered, ruled and lined walls on rendered channelled base with rendered monolithic pilasters to ends including rendered monolithic pilasters (first floor) supporting cornice on blind frieze. Hipped segmental-headed central door opening approached by flight of eight tooled cut-limestone steps, doorcase with three quarter-engaged columns on plinths supporting cornice on "Patera"-detailed frieze, and moulded surround centred on portrait-detailed keystone framing timber panelled double doors having sidelights below fanlight. Square-headed flanking window openings with sill course on "Cavetto"-detailed consoles, and rendered surrounds with monolithic pilasters supporting cornices on blind friezes framing one-over-one timber sash windows. Square-headed window openings (upper floors) with sill courses on "Cavetto"-detailed consoles, and rendered surrounds with monolithic pilasters supporting one-over-one timber sash windows.   Detached four-bay two-storey double-pile over part basement bank, built 1873; extant 1895, on a square plan centred on two-bay two-storey "bas-relief" breakfront. Hipped double-pile (M-profile) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks having shallow stringcourses below capping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on timber box cornice having spandrels on nail head-detailed frieze on entablature. Rendered channelled wall (ground floor) on rendered chamfered plinth with "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed cornice on blind frieze on entablature; red brick Flemish bond surface finish (first floor) with timber box cornice having spandrels on nail head-detailed frieze on entablature; rendered surface finish (remainder).   Warehouse complex, extant 1895, on an L-shaped plan including (south): Attached nine-bay four-storey[?] warehouse on a symmetrical plan. Now disused. Hipped slate roof on collared timber construction centred on pitched (gabled) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, and cast-iron rainwater goods on cut-limestone eaves retaining cast-iron downpipes. Tuck pointed coursed or snecked limestone walls with hammered limestone flush quoins to corners. Square-headed central loading door openings with hammered limestone lintels framing timber boarded half-doors. Square-headed flanking window openings with hammered limestone lintels framing timber boarded fittings; (west): Attached three-bay three-storey[?] warehouse on a symmetrical plan. Now disused.   Terraced two-bay two-storey house, extant 1930, on a symmetrical plan with shopfront to ground floor. Refenestrated. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles terminating in rendered chimney stacks having stringcourses below capping supporting terracotta pots, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on rendered eaves retaining cast-iron downpipe. Rendered walls with rusticated rendered piers to ends. Rendered shopfront to ground floor on a symmetrical plan. Paired square-headed window openings (first floor) with concealed dressings having bull nose-detailed reveals framing replacement timber casement windows replacing one-over-one timber sash windows. Street fronted with concrete brick cobbled footpath to front.

  Detached five-bay single-storey over raised basement farmhouse, extant 1777, on a T-shaped plan centred on single-bay full-height breakfront on an engaged half-octagonal plan. Vacant, 1901[?]. Occupied, 1911. Extensively renovated. Replacement pitched slate roof on a T-shaped plan centred on half-octagonal slate roof with ridge tiles, abbreviated drag edged tooled cut-limestone coping to gables with drag edged tooled snecked limestone chimney stacks to apexes having stringcourses below chamfered capping supporting terracotta or yellow terracotta pots, and uPVC rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on rendered cut-limestone eaves. Roughcast walls bellcast over rendered plinth. Round-headed niches centred on round-headed central door opening approached by flight of nine benchmark-inscribed cut-limestone steps with drag edged cut-limestone block-and-start surround centred on keystone framing replacement timber panelled door having fanlight. Square-headed window openings with drag edged cut-limestone sills, and concealed dressings framing replacement casement windows replacing one-over-one timber sash windows having part exposed sash boxes. Set in landscaped grounds with rendered piers to perimeter having ivy-covered capping supporting wrought iron double gates.
