Description
In undulating pasture, on gentle NW-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 40m) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse. Bank (ext. H 1.65m) well preserved all round apart from W->N where some erosion has occurred. Fosse (Wth 1.7m; D 0.3m) is waterlogged along E arc. Interior is covered by dense overgrowth. Field boundary, indicated on 1923 OS 6-inch map as abutting bank at ENE, has been removed. Description
On gentle N-facing slope, immediately N of farmhouse and yard. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m), has been levelled. According to local information levelled c. 1978 when a slurry-pit built over most of its S half, and spoil from pit used to infill waterlogged fosse. Description
In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 40m) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse. Enclosure covered with dense overgrowth with access to bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.1m) and waterlogged fosse (Wth 1.8m; D 0.35m) only possible at NE. Interior covered with dense growth of briars and whitethorn apart from small clearing towards centre. Description
In pasture, atop low hill, c. 50m NE of site of Kilmurry Church (LI028-149---). Roughly oval area (36.5m N-S; 47.5m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.5m) at NNW and from SE->SSE, and defined by scarped edge (H 1.35m; Wth 2.4m) elsewhere, with external fosse (Wth 2.5m; D 0.6m) N->E and for a short section at W. Scarp has been quarried at S and to a lesser extent at N. Linear field boundary runs across base of scarp and bank W->N, truncating the fosse. Farm trackway skirts around S and E sides of site. Field boundary, shown on 1923 OS 6-inch map abutting scarp at E, has been removed. Interior level and under pasture but with some trees growing along perimeter NW->ENE. Description
In undulating pasture, on gentle NNE-facing slope and below top of gentle rise. Roughly circular area (33m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.3m; Wth 4m) WSW->ESE, and enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.35m), incorporated into field boundary, ESE->WSW. Description
In flat pasture, surrounded by lower marshy ground NE->E. Sub-rectangular area (18.5m NE-SW; 10.5m NW-SE) defined by scarp (H 0.3m). Scarp most well-defined W->N with slight dip at ENE and heap of earth and stone (H 0.2m; 2m x 2m) at WSW. Interior used as feeding area for cattle. No trace of any gravemarkers.
