  In level pasture. Roughly rectangular raised area (45.2m NNE-SSW; 72.5m WNW-ESE) defined by a scarped edge with inner lip (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.3m) NNE->SE and scarped edge SE->NNE. Possible external fosse (D 0.85m) NNW->SSE could be quarry for earthen field boundaries. Scarped edge incorporated into field boundary SSE->NW; boundary skirts external base of scarped edge E->SE.   In pasture, on slight S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 35m) defined by a scarped edge (H 0.7m; Wth 1.8m) with an external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 1.8m). However, still evident as circular area (diam. 38m) defined by wide gradual scarped edge (H 0.8m; Wth 8m) with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 3.2m).   Description

  Detached three-bay two-storey house, extant 1888, with extension to rear (north). Hipped slate roof with red brick chimneystacks and uPVC rainwater goods. Lime rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with painted stone sills and uPVC casement windows. Round-headed door opening with fanlight, uPVC door and sidelights to front (south) elevation. Concrete block outbuilding with pitched slate roof, having inscribed limestone slab to west elevation. Square-profile rendered gate piers with side walls and wrought-iron gates to south-east of site. Set within own grounds.
