Description
Towards the bottom of a gentle SE-facing slope. Circular overgrown area (diam. 43.5m NNE-SSW; 39.8m WNW-ESE) defined by an overgrown but poached earthen bank (Wth 3-3.5m; int. H 0.1-0.4m; ext. H 0.65-0.8m), with some inner facing-stones SSE-S. There is no visible fosse but the entrance (Wth 1.7m) is at SSE. Rath (RO045-150----) is c. 140m to the ENE. Description
Marked as an oval embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 45m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map where it is overlain by the NNW-SSE Roscommon-Athlone road (N 61) but lying mostly W of it. Situated on a slight WSW-facing slope. A D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 30.5m NW-SE; 10.25m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (H 0.55m) S-NW survives. Description

Description
Visible as a small circular feature defined by an earthen bank (diam. c. 10m) on aerial photographs (GSIAP: M 469-8), and situated on an undulating low-lying landscape at the NW corner of a field. Description
On a slight rise in an undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 37m ENE-WSW) defined by an earthen bank with bushes (Wth 4.4-4.8m; int. H 0.5-1.2m; ext. H 1.3-1.5m) and slight traces of a fosse (Wth 2.7-3.2m). The entrance (Wth 3.4m) is at E, and the perimeter is truncated at N by an E-W field bank.
