Description
On top of the W end of an E-W drumlin ridge. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 48m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.8-6.5m; int. H 0.5-1m; ext. Description
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a low rise. Subcircular grass-covered and poached area (dims 28m E-W; 24.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-3.5m; int. H 0.2-0.6m; ext. H 0.4-1-4m) and hedge with an outer fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.1-0.3m) W-E-S. There is no evidence of the perimeter S-W, and there is no visible entrance. Rath (RO017-051----) is c. 130m to the ENE. Description
On a low knoll. Oval scrub-covered area (dims 39m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.3-1m; ext. H 0.6-1.4m) and hedge, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.5-3m; D 0.2-0.5m) SW-NNW. There is no visible entrance. Description
On the SW-facing slope of a drumlin. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 48m N-S; 48m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.85m at N to 3.6m at E; int. H 0.45m at S to 0.85m at W; ext. H 0.8m at N to 1m E-W), and an outer fosse (Wth of base 2m at S to 3.3m N; D 0.1m at S to 0.3m at N) SE-W-NNE. Description
On a narrow shelf of a gentle E-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (int. dims 31m E-W; 25m N-S) defined by a grass and scrub-covered stone spread (Wth 1.6m at E to 3.4m at W; int. H 0.1m at E to 0.8m at S; ext. H 0.5m at E to 0.9m at W) NE-S-WNW, which is rebuilt as a field wall and hedge NW-NE. There is no visible entrance. Description
On a low knoll. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 32m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by a scrub-covered earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.2-0.55m; ext. H 1m) SW-W-NE, and a straight scarp (H 1.2-1.5m) E-S where some quarrying has occurred. There is no visible fosse or entrance. Cashel (RO017-056----) is c. 90m to the W. Description
Towards the bottom of the SE-facing slope of a drumlin. Subcircular overgrown area (dims 30m N-S; 25.2m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5-5.3m; int. H 0.3-1m; ext. H 0.5-1m) ESE-W-NW which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.9-1.4m) elsewhere, separated by a complete fosse (Wth of top 3.5m; Wth of base 2.5-2.8m) from an outer bank (Wth 4.3-5m; int. H 0.3m; ext.
