  Description

  On a gentle SW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 44.1m E-W; 41.8m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.2-3.9m; int. H 0.1-0.4m; ext. H 0.95-1.2m) with some bushes separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.2-5.6m; Wth of base 2.3m; D 0.45-1m) from an outer bank (Wth 1.4-2m; ext. H 0.1-0.2m), which is incorporated into a field bank NE-SE and removed by quarrying WSW-NW (max. ext. diam. 56.6m N-S). An original entrance was not recognised.   Description

  Marked only on the 1928 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 34m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.7-3.8m; int. H 0.25-0.4m; ext. H 0.75-0.8m), which is replaced by a field bank and hedge NE-SE. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
