  Description

  On a slight N-facing slope. D-shaped grass and scrub-covered area (dims 47.9m NNE-SSW; 26.8m WNW-ESE) defined by an overgrown earth and stone bank (Wth 4.1-7.1m; int. H 0.1-0.6m; ext. H 0.35-0.7m) SW-N-NE, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 1.3m; D 0.3m) SW-WNW.   Description

  Towards the bottom of the W-facing slope of a hill. The limestone shaft of a cross (dims 0.2m x 0.18m; H 1.74m) with chamfered edges and a slightly expanded head (H 0.42m). One end has a mortise.   Marked only on the 1928 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small feature (diam. c. 5m), and situated towards the bottom of the W-facing slope of a hill.   Description

  Towards the top of the S-facing slope of A hill. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 42m WNW-ESE; 35.3m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.7-5m; int. H 0.1-0.75m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5.8m; Wth of base 1m; D 0.35m) from an outer bank (Wth 2.5m; ext. H 0.35m), both of which only survive ENE-SSE. The inner bank is incorporated into a field bank WSW-NW, and the monument is truncated at N by a WNW-ESE field bank. The entrance (Wth 1.9m) defined by limestone boulders and the causeway (Wth 2m) are at SE. Rath (RO041-055003-) is c. 80m to the ENE, and rath (RO041-055002-) is c. 80m to the E.   Description

  Towards the top of the SE-facing slope of a hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 41.3m NE-SW; c. 40m NW-SE) defined by an earth and stone bank with some bushes (Wth 5.7-8.4m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.8-2m), and a fosse (Wth of top 8m; Wth of base 1.2m; ext. D 1.2m at NE) with a field bank on its outer lip W-N-SE.   Description

  Towards the top of a SE-facing slope of a hill. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 41m NE-SW; 39.7m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.5m; int. H 0.2-0.65m; ext. H 1.15-1.3m) S-NW, with a fosse (Wth of top 5.3m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.7m) W-NW. There is no identifiable original entrance, but traces of the perimeter (Wth 2.7m; ext. H 1.15m) survive at SE, beyond the field bank. There is a record of a house site (RO041-055004-) (dims 11m E-W; 4m N-S) in the interior (Gannon 1972), which is no longer visible. The monument was cut by the bank of rath (RO041-055001-) N-E, and a NE-SW field bank has destroyed the perimeter E-S.   Description

  Towards the top of a SE-facing slope of a hill. Described as a circular area defined by slight traces of a bank and fosse, and which was overlain by a N-S field bank E of the centre (Gannon 1972). It is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP: APH 18) where it appears to be cut by the perimeter of rath (RO041-055002-), which is immediately to its NE.   Visible as a circular area defined by an earthen bank, with a fosse SE-SW and an entrance at SE on aerial photograph (CUCAP: APH 19), and situated on a S-facing slope. This is now a grass-covered platform (diam. 50m N-S; 48m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.1-0.8m) with the perimeter incorporated into a field bank SW-NW. Rath (RO041-057----) is c. 110m to the SSW.   Description

  Visible as a circular area (diam. c. 50m) bisected by a N-S field bank and defined by an earthen bank and fosse on aerial photograph (CUCAP: APH 19). Situated on a S-facing slope. It was removed before 1972 (Gannon 1972) leaving an earthen field bank and hedge S-W, but a section through a bank (Wth 4m; H 1.05m) separated by a berm (Wth 6m) from an outer bank (Wth 4m; H 0.6m) can be seen in the N-S field bank at N. • RO041-059 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Towards the bottom of a SE-facing slope. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 34.5m E-W; 33.7m N-S) defined by an overgrown but poached earthen bank (Wth 4.5-7.2m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 0.8-1.95m), with a fosse (Wth of top 4.6m; Wth of base 2.4m; D 1m) NW-NE and S-SSW. The fosse is destroyed by quarrying NE-S and backfilled SSW-NW.
