Description
On a shelf on a gentle SE-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims 35m E-W; 27.1m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.95m at W to 1.65m at S) with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2-3m; D 0.2-0.9m) N-S-W, and an outer overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.2m at SW to 0.55m at S; ext. H 0.25m at SW to 1.65m at S) SE-SW. The entrance to souterrain (RO011-072002-) is just W of the centre, and there is a modern causeway entrance at SE, while a shed is built into the perimeter at E. Description
Just W of the centre of rath (RO011-072001-) on a shelf of a gentle SE-facing slope. A lintelled passage (Wth 0.9m; H 1.2m) runs W from its entrance (L c. 10m), before becoming blocked at a turning. Description
On the SE-facing slope of a NE-SW drumlin ridge. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 25m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.2-0.6m; ext. H 1m) S-W-N and a scarp (H 1-1.2m) elsewhere, with a fosse (Wth of base 3m; D 0.2-0.9m) SW-N but a drain circumscribes the perimeter E-S. There is no visible entrance.
