  Description

  Marked only on the 1930 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated at the crest of the S end of a N-S ridge at the E base of the Carnfree ridge. Circular grass-covered dished area (diam. 25.7m NW-SE; D 0.4-0.45m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 2.7-3m; ext. H 0.1-0.2m) WNW-N-SE, although flush with the external ground elsewhere.   Description

  On a gentle N-facing slope. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 21.4m NW-SE; c. 15m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.5-0.75m) SE-S-NW, but the perimeter has been removed elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.   Description

  On a N-facing slope overlooking a NE-SW valley. Subrectangular or subcircular grass-covered area (diam. c. 26m N-S) defined by arcs of an earthen bank (Wth 2.4-2.6m; int. H 0.3-0.4m; ext. H 0.4m) NW-NE and S-SW. The perimeter is truncated by a N-S field wall at W and cannot be traced NE-S. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.   Description

  On a level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 44.3m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 4-5.8m; int. H 0.4-1.2m; ext. H 1.5-1.8m) which is poached, and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 5-5.8m; Wth of base 1.5-2m; D 0.4-0.6m) which is slightly truncated by a NE-SW field wall at NW. The entrance (Wth 2.1m) and causeway (Wth 2.3m) are at SE (ext. diam. 58.2m E-W; 57.7m N-S). Rath (RO028-140----) is c. 50m to the SE. See the attached image taken from the NE.   Description

  On a level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 24m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.6-3.6m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.5-1m), with slight traces of a fosse (Wth c. 2m) S-WSW. There is a modernised entrance (Wth 5.6m) at SE.   On a gentle NW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 44.1m E-W; 43.7m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 3.6-4.1m; int. H 0.2-0.45m; ext. H 0.6-1.3m), which has been truncated by a NW-SE stone wall at SW. There is no visible fosse, and a modernised entrance (Wth 4m) is at E.   Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 29m E-W; 27.5m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.25-0.3m) with traces of a fosse (Wth of base 3.5m; D 0.25m) S-WNW.   Description

  On a N-facing slope. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 33m E-W; 22.5m N-S) defned by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2.4-3.3m; int. H 0.25-0.65m; ext. H 0.4-0.7m) NE-S. There is no visible fosse or identifiable entrance, and it is truncated by a N-S field wall at W and an E-W field wall at N. Archaeological testing (02E0282) immediately to the E failed to produce any related material (Read 2004f; 2006d).   Description

  Marked as a circular feature (diam. c. 35m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 25m E-W) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.05-0.15m) NE-SE and SW-NW (H 0.55-0.7m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, and it is overlain by a N-S field wall W of the centre. There is a clearance cairn (dims 4m N-S; 1.8m E-W; H 0.3m) inside the perimeter at SW. Rath (RO028-145----) is c. 60m to the NE and rath (RO028-147----) is c. 150m to the ESE.   On a gentle NE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 44.3m E-W; 43.9m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.3-5.8m; int. H 0.4-0.7m; ext. H 1.5-1.8m) and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 8-8.4m; Wth of base 3.6m; D 0.3-0.6m), which cannot be seen SSW-WSW. There is an entrance (Wth 1.7m) and causeway (Wth 4.5m) at ENE.   Description

  At the summit of an E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered and flat-topped mound (diam. of base 24.5m NW-SE; 21.7m NE-SW; diam. of top 19.8m NW-SE; 15.5m NE-SW; H 0.2m at S to 1.4-1.5m N-E) which has been quarried back at N and probably lowered at S. A NNE-SSW field wall and hedge overlies it W of the centre. It is within ceremonial enclosure (RO028-148002-). Bowl barrow (RO028-153----) is c. 180m to the SSW.   Description

  At the summit of an E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (dims. c. 180m NW-SE; c. 160m NE-SW) defined by a broad earthen bank (at E: Wth 6m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.1m; at NE: Wth 6.5m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.2m; at W: Wth c. 9m; H 0.1m), which is quarried at SE but survives best (Wth 9.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m) for a short section (L c. 5m) at SE. There are entrances at E (Wth 15m), and N (Wth 15m). Barrow (RO028-148001-) is inside the perimeter at SE, bowl barrow (RO028-153----) is c. 150m to the S, and rath (RO028-152----) is c. 100m outside the perimeter at SE.
