  Description

  In a low-lying landscape. An area of about 4 acres (c. 1.5 ha) around the hillock with souterrain (RO028-019002-) has field banks or low scarps creating small rectangular fields (dims c. 50m x c. 30m) with a sunken NE-SW roadway (RO028-019003-) (L c. 100m; Wth of base 3.7m) defined by a bank (Wth 5m; H 0.7-0.9m) at SE and a scarp (H 0.7m) at NW at the E edge of the fields. A scarp at the base of the hillock SW-NW creates the impression of a large circular enclosure as represented only on the 1930 ed. of the OS 6-inch map.   Description

  On a slight rise in a low-lying landscape. The expanding end of an L-shaped lintelled passage (L 2.3m E-W; Wth 0.75m at W to 1.45m at E; max. H 0.7m) which continues unroofed to the E (max.   In a low-lying landscape. An area of c. 1 ha around the hillock with souterrain (RO028-019002-) has field banks (RO028-019001-) with a sunken NE-SW roadway (RO028-019003-) (L c. 100m; Wth of base 3.7m) defined by a bank (Wth 5m; H 0.7-0.9m) at SE and a scarp (H 0.7m) at NW at the E edge of the fields. • RO028-065001 Road - road/trackway
  Description

  On the floor of an E-W valley at the N foot of the WNW-ESE Carnfree ridge. At the W end a berm (Wth 4-7m) defined by scarps (H 0.4-0.8m) runs E-W (L c. 600m) and runs just S of a farmyard built since 1930 (OS 6-inch map) before turning briefly NE and then running parallel with a modern WNW-ESE access road (L c. 200m) on its S side. Its next section to the E is largely missing (L c. 400m) but it re-appears on the E side of the Roscommon - Tulsk road (N 61) as a WNW-ESE field bank alternating with the drystone wall and townland boundary between the townlands of Lisacurkia and Ballybrogan on the N and Carrwokeel and Carrowrinny on the S (L c. 1km). It terminates at the E in what might be a turlough in Corker townland. Its W end may connect with the N end of road (RO028-062001-) and if it was continued NW for c. 1km it would have connected with the destroyed roadway (RO028-008001-). • RO028-254 Field system
  Description

  In a low-lying situation on the S bank of the W-E Ogulla stream at a point where it turns NE, and around the W and N slopes of a low grass-covered WNW-ESE ridge. An area of about 9 acres (c. 3.5 ha) contains earthen banks (Wth 2.2-4.2m; H 0.1-0.4m), sometimes accompanied by shallow silted drains (Wth c. 1-1.5m). Some large fields (dims c. 100m x 30-50m) are present, but there are also smaller rectangular fields (int. dims 24m x 10m).
