  Description

  Situated at a break in an E/SE-facing slope. Bivallate circular ringfort (diam. 42m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-7.5m; int. H 1.2-2m; ext. H 0.6-1.8m) and external fosse (Wth 3.5-4m; D 1.5-1.9m). There is an outer bank (Wth 2-2.5m) N-E-S. No indication of an entrance or internal features. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).   Description

  Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope overlooking the River Slaney. A circular mound (diam. c. 50m; H c. 2.4m). Not visible at ground level.   Description

  Situated on a steep S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 46m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; max. H 1.8m) surviving only as a slight feature from N-SE; the W perimeter is preserved in the field boundary. The external fosse (Wth 4m) is visible only from SW-W. • Eldon Bridge, bridge, 1815–1835 · Regional interest
  Description

  Three-arch road bridge over the Slaney River, built c.1825, with additional flood arch to the east. The bridge is constructed in coursed rubble with dressed granite voussoirs to the segmental arches. The parapet is also in coursed rubble with semi-dressed granite voussoirs. To the north side of the bridge there are rounded cutwaters.
