  In rough hill pasture, on the summit of a knoll, on the lower S-facing slopes of Maulin overlooking Berehaven Harbour and Bere Island. This standing stone (1.25m x 0.4m; H 1m) is roughly rectangular in plan and section and is orientated NNE-SSW. The stone leans slightly to the SSW.   Description

  In rough peaty hill pasture, some of which is cutaway bog, on the undulating, lower, S-facing slopes of Maulin. Traces of a relict stone field boundary (T 0.4m; H 0.3m) defined by the tops of stones which protrude intermittently above the surface of the remaining bog and extend in a general NE-SW direction for a distance of c. 75m. Traces of shorter stretches of wall were noted to the W and SW of this relict field boundary. Limited field clearance has removed some of the stones.   Description

  In rough hill pasture, in cutaway bog, on the lower W-facing slopes of Maulin. Turf-cutting has exposed a curvilinear, relict, stone field boundary (T 0.5m; H 0.3m) which extends in a general E-W direction for a distance of c. 50m. Sections along the E half of the relict wall, which are situated on level ground, run into uncut bog. While on the downsloping, uncut, W half, some stones of the relict field boundary protrude above the surface of the bog.   Description

  On rough hill grazing, on a mantle of blanket bog, some of which is cutaway, on a S-facing slope. The remains of a roughly circular hut site (diam. 6.5m) defined by a grassy bank (Wth 1.4m; H 0.3m) WNW-SSW through which the base row of a stone wall protrudes. Elsewhere, the bank and stones are indistinct SSW-WNW. Uncut bog may obscure or have removed the enclosing element in this area.   Description

  In rough hill grazing, on blanket bog, on a S-facing slope. A roughly oval area (int. dims. 23m E-W; 19m N-S) is defined by a low peaty bank (H 0.3m) on the base course of a low stone wall (Wth 1.6m) except along the E arc where the enclosing element is damaged by a roadway used by turf-cutters.
