  Description

  Atop small hillock, in undulating pasture. Circular area (23m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed NW->SE by earthen bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.1m) and defined SE->NW by scarped edge (H 2.7m; Wth 6m).   Description

  In gently undulating marshy pasture. Circular area (diam. c. 23m) enclosed by flat-topped earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 2m; Wth at top 2m), with concentric outer bank NW->NE (H c. 0.4m; Wth c. 8m). Inner bank obscured by dense overgrowth, especially at N and S ends where overgrowth extends into interior.   Description

  In undulating pasture. Oval area (40m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by scarped edge (H 3.1m; Wth 13m) W->E, and enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.7m) with external fosse (D 0.5m; Wth 2m) E->W. Recently constructed farm trackway (Wth 2m) now crosses enclosure at mid-point on E-W axis. Field boundary runs immediately outside fosse E->W.   Description

  In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Circular area (25m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.15m), with external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 2.2m) NNE->NW but truncated by field boundary NW->NNE. Bank overgrown with trees and bushes. Level interior under pasture. • LI017-019 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  In pasture, atop hill. Circular area (44m N-S; 40m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H 1.75m; ext. H 2.6m) and fosse (Wth 4m) are truncated E->S, and outer bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.6m) NE->SW, by field boundaries which form corner of field at SE. Entrance (Wth 2m) at NW recently widened but probably original. Interior level and in marshy pasture. Enclosing banks overgrown with trees and bushes. • LI017-047 Standing stone
  Description

  In pasture, on a slight ledge at the base of a SW-facing slope. An upright stone (H 1.5m; Wth 0.91m; T 0.6m), leaning slightly to the N, which is roughly rectangular in profile. Its long axis is aligned NE-SW. Parts of the stone have been worn smooth by cattle rubbing against it; they have also worn down the ground around the base of the stone exposing some packing stones.
