  Description

  In gently undulating pasture. Circular area (24m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.45m; Wth 3m) with external fosse (D 0.15m; Wth c. 5m) and external bank (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.45m). According to local information monument levelled-out to present form c. 1958. Enclosure under grass but differential growth-pattern (darker grass and concentration of weeds) accentuates line of fosse. External bank truncated NE->SE by field drain.   Description

  In undulating pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular enclosure bisected by field boundary (axis SW-NE): section to NW levelled c. 1958 but faint trace of enclosing element discernible; section to SE obscured by dense overgrowth of bushes etc. but enclosing element intact. Northwest section defined by scarped edge (H c. 0.55m; Wth 3m) with external fosse (D 0.25m; Wth c. 1.3m), and with external bank NE->E (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.75m). Southeast section enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse: inner bank (int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.7m); flat-bottomed fosse (Wth c. 2.8m); external bank (int. H 2.1m; ext. H 1.1m). Level interior (diam. c. 28m) is covered by dense overgrowth on SE side but is under grass on NW side. Levelled enclosure (LI017-028---) c. 30m to SE.   In undulating pasture. Oval area (38m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks. Inner bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.7m) runs full circuit but external bank (int. H 0.95m; ext.   Description

  In improved pasture 80m E of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Kilmurrily and county boundary with Kerry. Ringfort (LI017-004---) lies 160m to SE and ringfort (KE003-030---) 200m to W. Not depicted on historic OSi maps it was identified from an aerial photograph as a circular cropmark indicating a levelled circular-shaped enclosure. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Possible cropmark (diam. c. 40m) visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken between 2011-13.
