• GA084-114 Quarry
  Description

  In undulating pastureland. A hachured feature marked on the 1933 edition of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection in 1983 to be a disused gravel pit. • GA084-115 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  In grassland. Described by Cody (1989, 267-9, no. 91) as a poorly preserved subcircular cashel (39m E-W; 36m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall. Within the E half of the interior were two almost parallel grass-covered stony banks running WSW-ENE and a low mound of earth and stone (3m by 3m). As a result of field clearance in the area, the monument has been leveled and no visible surface trace of it, or its associated features, survives.   Description

• GA084-117 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  In undulating grassland. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m). Described by Cody (1989, 212-13, no. 60) as a poorly preserved rath that was defined by two sections of an earthen bank which survived to the NW and SE of a field wall that cut across the monument from NE to SW. Where slight traces of the bank survived to the SE of the wall a hay-shed and lean-to were built across it. An orchard occupied the surviving section to the NW of the wall. • GA096-145 Fulacht fia
  Description

  In low-lying marshy pastureland, c. 10m to the W of a stream. This partially demolished fulacht fia consists of two oval-shaped grassed-over mounds of burnt stone. A slight rise running from the W end of the N mound (7m E-W; 4m N-S; H 1m) to the S mound (7m E-W; 5m N-S; H 0.3m) suggests that the trough area originally opened out to the E.
