  Description

  On top of a low rise in a low-lying landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 27.5m N-S) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 2.7m at S to 4m at N; int. H 0.2m at S to 0.6m at W; ext. H 0.65m at W to 1.05m at N), with an external fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.1-0.2m) at SE. There is no visible entrance, but a drain runs inside the bank SW-WNW.   Description

  Marked as a small feature (diam. c. 25m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a shelf of level ground. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 12.8m E-W; 11.2m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.5-0.7m). It may be a ring-barrow. Church (RO011-106001-) is c. 70m to the SSW.   At the crest of an E-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 32m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.5-3.7m; int. H 0.1-0.3m; ext. H 0.7-0.8m) W-NE and a scarp (H 0.7-1m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2-2.3m; D 0.1-0.3m) S-W-NE.
