  Description

  Marked only on the 1928 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 25m E-W; c. 10m N-S) truncated by an E-W field bank at N, and situated at the crest of a low ridge in a fairly high undulating landscape. • RO032-041 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  On a slight S-facing slope. Described (Gannon 1972) as a circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by the remains of an earthen bank which had three openings, that at NW (Wth 3m) probably being the original. It is not visible at ground level apart from the perimeter NE-E-SW which may be incorporated into a curving field bank and the townland boundary with Rathlena.   Description

• RO032-046 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  On a level landscape. Subcircular overgrown area (dims 38m N-S; 34m E-W) defined by an overgrown and eroded earthen bank (Wth 6-8m; int. H 1-1.9m; ext. H 1.4-1.6m) E-S which is incorporated into a field bank S-NW and reduced to a scarp (H 0.6m) NW-E. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
