  Description

  On top of a low NE-SW ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.9m at NE to 5.2m at S; int. H 0.25-0.45m; ext. H 1.1m at NE to 1.5m at SW), with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2-2.5m; D 0.1m at S to 0.75m at NE) N-WSW. The entrance (Wth 4.8m) is at E. Rath (RO011-095----) is c. 180m to the SSE.   Description

  At the S edge of a broad low rise. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 46.5m N-S; 45m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.7m at N to 4m at W; int. H 0.3m at E to 1m at SW; ext. H 0.9m at N to 1.6m at W) S-N-ESE and a scarp (H 0.95m) elsewhere with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.8m at S to 3.9m at N; D 0.1m to 0.7m at SW). • RO011-184 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Situated on level pasture at base of the E-facing slope of a low hillock. It was first identified by Susan Curran as part of an M.A. thesis with University College Dublin using a LiDAR survey dataset commissioned by Leitrim County Council and the National Roads Authority. This is a subcircular grass-covered area (dims 32m E-W; c. 28m N-S) defined by a low scarp (at SE: Wth 1.5m; H 0.15m) which is best preserved NE-S-NW but which has been straightened at N where it is slightly truncated by an E-W land drain. There is an outer fosse (at SE: Wth of top 4.2m; Wth of base 1.4m; D 0.15m) SE-SW, which is probably incorporated into a S-N and W-E field drain at W and N. There is no visible entrance but traces of a N-S field bank overlie the centre of the monument. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 12 May 2015

  Description

  Located at the tip of a low W-E spur. This is a circular, slightly raised and grass-covered area (diam. 39m N-S; 35.5m E-W) defined by a scarp (Wth c. 3m; H 0.3m W-N to 0.7-0.9m E-S). The entrance is a dip (Wth of base 1.7m) at SSW. It is not depicted on any map but is visible on Google Earth (01/03/2010; 24/03/2017) and was first reported by Jean Charles Caillere.
